A Ribbitting Tale
A puzzle game where you control a green frog trying to reach a pink frog.
Navigate the map avoiding enemies and use special powers acquired from plants to solve puzzles.
Made in 2 weeks for the IVGD 2022 Winter FrogJam.

love it!
The grid movement fits super well with the aesthetics! Feels like moving small plastic toys on a playground.
Not sure how to progress with the snake and the ice cube though! Tried a few things, but couldn't get it. But overall, the puzzles works well!

The game mechanic is clever and the aesthetic is rich with clean cartoon graphics. The controls of the game are fun and intuitive. Although their is a missing control for using spacebar to fire abilities, I managed to figure it out quickly because the design is well executed.
The 2 coolest features I enjoyed the most were tile hopping to make the NPCs move around to make a strategic move and the undo feature to course correct player choices.
I'd like to see more levels being added to explore deeper puzzles which address NPC and player confrontations. The puzzles in the game are amusing and frustrating and more of this would be really fun!
